Fees depend on the type of matter, its complexity and the work involved. For conveyancing, scale fees are regulated, and for other matters we explain the basis of our fees before work begins. We would rather you know the full picture at the start than be surprised later. A lower fee is not always the cheaper outcome, because errors in agreements and documents are expensive to fix.

A caveat is a notice registered on a property's title that stops dealings with the land, such as a transfer, until the claim is resolved. It can be lodged by a person claiming an interest in the property. We search for caveats before you commit, because a caveat you find after paying a deposit can delay or derail the purchase.
